Freddy QnA
Why are you such a downer when it comes to celebrations, like during your recent birthday?
When you really look at it, birthdays aren't really worth celebrating is it? Being older only means you have to look after your own behind and this ain't really a thing to look forward to... I mean just look at the world we're in... Why are we celebrating living in it one extra year... yadda yadda OK OK i shall stop with the preach-like statements for once. Anyway i guess you can blame my p4 tuition teacher, who told me the grown up's version of a birthday. Ok so flashback to XX years ago the day you were born. You think your mom and pop were thinking, "chocolate or vanilla flavor for first birthday cake?" Hell no... god we're talking about your mom's life here... and that's the day her life was at stake and people are freakin celebrating it - at times without their moms when they clearly have that option. But hey that's just me, you do whatever you want. After all celebrating a day you can claim to be yours feels good dun it, coz it seldom happens (once a year at least). As for me, seriously having the family around the same table for a meal or something is rare enough. And if this year means one less person and having to start eating at 10 at night, so be it.
Hope that answers amply.
PS I wanna thank my classmates for the gifts on my B Day. The Neil Humphreys book, Zegna EDT, and the card, also anyone who bothered spending time with me on the day. Thanks!
"So sorry I’m depressing, but just look who I’m talking to."
